Crewkerne sits at the head of the River Parrett, surrounded by rolling South Somerset farmland. As a result, many call-outs here involve septic tanks and private drainage on rural properties, rather than mains connections alone. Our team understands agricultural sites, including livestock yards and outbuildings, where blockages can quickly turn serious if left unattended. Meanwhile, the town centre is known for handsome Georgian buildings, many with drainage systems that reflect their age. Therefore, we choose the right technique for each property, rather than assuming a modern fix will always apply. Additionally, Crewkerne’s old coaching-town history means it has grown outward over the centuries. So we’re equally comfortable working in the historic centre or on newer developments nearby. This flexibility has made us a trusted choice for homeowners, landlords, farmers and business owners throughout the area.
Our wide range of services includes:
Drain cleaning
High pressure jet washing
Pressure washing
Pipe patching
Drain rodding
CCTV drain surveys
Drain relining
Emergency call-outs

“We had our gutters cleaned by Valley Drains and couldn’t be happier with the service. Darren was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish – friendly, professional, and efficient. The job was done quickly, to a really high standard, and it was great value for money. He also made sure everything was cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommended!”
“Valley Drains recently relaid one of our drains and provided an outstanding service throughout. The team was professional, punctual, and thorough, completing the work to a very high standard. The site was left clean and tidy, and communication was excellent from start to finish. We would have no hesitation in recommending Valley Drains to others. Thank you Darren and Jak”
“Very fast and very helpful – on site within the hour and having sorted the problem rather than charge a fee they advised me to contact Wessex Water who bore responsibility ( a fact I was unaware of!) and thereby saved me money and time. Courteous and respectful of property – rare these days! 5 stars.”
